Make your week a bit more fun by joining the Newcomers
bowling Wednesday mornings. You don't need to be a pro;
handicaps level the playing field for everyone involved.
Do you need some adult conversation while the little ones
play? Begin a play group with fellow members and meet at a
house, park or other agreed upon location.
Join fellow members in organizing photos in a fun and creative
way sharing ideas, supplies, stories, etc..

Kearney Newcomers Book Club meets every 4th Thursday of
the month at 1:00 p.m. at the Library to compare notes and
discuss books chosen by the group to read.
“Kinetics Klub” - Join Kearney Newcomers at 9:15 a.m. each
Tuesday at Hilltop Mall to stay in shape while walking the mall
during the winter months and agreed upon locations outdoors
in warmer weather.
The 3rd Thursday of each month, 11:30 a.m., members are
welcome to sign up to enjoy good food and conversation at
local area restaurants. A new location is selected each month
giving members an opportunity to visit the latest in culinary

Interested in becoming a member? Join us at our Monthly Luncheon or Coffee where you can also find out more about the
activities listed below.
Our monthly luncheon includes a brief business meeting,
new member sign-up, speaker and door prizes. Come
visit and learn more about our club. Meetings are held
the first Thursday of each month at the Alley Rose
Restaurant, downtown, 11:30 a.m.
A casual monthly gathering of the club in a relaxed, coffee
klatch atmosphere. Members and guests welcome.
ONCE-A-MONTH MEMBER MOVIE
Why sit alone? Get together with your Newcomer friends
each month at one of the local Kearney area theatres to
watch the newest release chosen by our organizer.

"Contract" Bridge is one of the most popular card games
in the world today. Join members of our club each
month to hone your bidding skills and make new friends.
Beginners are welcome.
Bunko is a dice game that requires no skill, and allows
for plenty of conversation - no expertise required. A game
of luck, Bunko uses dice and a simple set of rules. Bunko
club participants usually take turns as host providing
refreshments and card tables.
Pitch is a card game using a standard 52-card deck. It
may be played by three players or four and involves
bidding and trick taking. Participants share in hosting
dates; everyone helps with refreshments.
